Work on the hard stuff, focus more

The elite players, by contrast, consolidated their work into two well-defined periods. When you plot the average time spent working versus the hours of the day for these players, there are two prominent peaks: one in the morning and one in the afternoon.
It’s easy to get caught working on the wrong stuff, the urgent but non-important stuff. And the number one excuse is that people don’t have time, because the urgency of the urgent stuff feels so compelling.
Just stop. Get some sleep. Work real hard on the things that matter. Let some of all the other things slide - things like email and Facebook - and trust that it’s all going to work out in the end.
