I once considered going to a Tony Robbins UPW event with a friend. I ended up not going, but I still get the benefit of having been put on their email list, without asking for it. The latest email showed up yesterday with a link to some free Keith Cunningham webinar recording, which, of course, is just marketing for an event coming up at the end of January.
There's an unsubscribe link in the bottom of the email, but not before giving this odd and slightly whiny warning:
If you no longer wish to hear from us or receive strategies for improving your life and business, we would really regret.
Ah, so this is about your feelings now, is it?
