Absolutely everyone should watch Inside Job, the excellent documentary on the financial crisis, narrated by Matt Damon.
The level of Wall Street’s corruption of US political institutions and even the field of economics at leading universities, and the consequences to the American people is simply staggering. Add to this the fact that the Obama administration has done nothing to change this, and it’s downright terrifying. There’s no reason to believe that things are going to change. I can’t believe people aren’t more upset about this.
