I think that’s both smart and stupid.
You need to have a vision for the long term. If you don’t know where you’re going, how do you know how to get there?
But day-to-day, what matters is what you do here and now. In this moment. And not even so much what you do, as how you do it. With awareness. With kindness. With your full attention.
It’s easy to get lost in the long-term vision. I’ve certainly been there. But it’s also easy to get lost in the doing. I’v been there as well.
