Just found out I’ve been using the same sneakers that His Steveness does for years, the New Balance 991. Bought them the first time in Chicago in 2000, and have been getting new pairs regularly since, with the complication that arises from them not being imported to Denmark. My latest pair was mailed from Lady Foot Locker in the US via Amazon to Florence a few weeks ago. No kidding.
Of course, I only found out now because now he’s replaced them with a pair of Nike. Bugger.
