What if everything that's wrong with politics is wrong with all of us?
It seems like people think that whatever's wrong with the world, or with politics, or government, is the others. It's Trump that's the problem, or the nazis, or the Republicans, or the globalists, or the Obama voters, or the hispanics. The problem with blaming "the other", is that, guess what, there's another "other" out there that blames you equally much.
The only way out of this mess is to abandon that notion all together. We all happen to live in this country, we have to admit that there's a problem with all of us, and that this is a problem we all have together, and we must solve it together.
We didn't choose who came to live here. It just happened this way. I'm sure some people would love it if all the non-whites just weren't there, just as some people would love it if all the racists weren't there. That's just not how it is. Wishing isn't going to make them go away.
So what are we going to do about it?
That's what we've got to figure out, and no-one is above this. We all have to figure this out together, and a solution that doesn't honor everyone's right to exist just isn't a solution.
Let's find solutions for the reality we live in.
